Barrell Craft Spirits recently released one of its newly added products: Barrell Bourbon Batch028. According to the information of the blender, it is a mixture of barrels with 10-year and 11-year history created by three different barrel subgroups.
The first has aromas of tropical fruits, citrus peels and exotic spices. The second has a rich mid-and and sweet almond-shaped body. The third is pepper and tonic, adding a skeleton of salty wood elements to the final taste. The brand says that the final mixture is a bouquet of ripe, tropical and sweet floral aromas, complemented by strong antique wood. Below are more official tasting notes.
Barrell Bourbon Batch 028 has been distilled and aged in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana. It has a barrel strength of 108.85 pounds and a suggested retail price of US$90. Located in Louisville, Kentucky, Barrell Craft Spirits is an independent blender and bottling machine made from unique, aged, barrel-strength whiskey and rum.
Over the years, we have reviewed many products released by Barrell Bourbon, and they have remained stable in most cases after being launched on the market. This proves the fusion ability of the people behind these products.
